Highway Lane Closures
A single lane of SR-4 in the westbound direction will be closed between Contra Loma Boulevard and Somersville Road from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am on Monday through Friday nights. A single lane of SR-4 in the eastbound direction will be closed between Somersville Road and Contra Loma Boulevard from 11:59 pm to 6:00 am on Monday through Friday nights.
Ramp Closures
The westbound on-ramp from Contra Loma Boulevard will be closed between 10:00 pm and 4:00 am on Monday through Friday nights. The eastbound off-ramp to Contra Loma Boulevard will be closed between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am on Monday through Friday nights.
Signs will be in place at the ramps to direct motorists to alternate routes. Please be alert and carefully follow all directional signs when encountering detours.
Local Street Closures
A single lane in each direction of Contra Loma Boulevard at SR-4 will be closed on Monday through Friday nights 11:59 pm and 5:00 am.

On monday around 11am, we got stuck in hours of traffic because highway 4 westbound went down into one lane just past Somerville. How long will that happen? Will it be there tomorrow? Gotta take it again.

Can you use a little more common sense and NOT do lane closures during the day in the direction traffic is heading. It took me 50 min to get from hillcrest to los medanos exit.
