BART – Tri Delta Transit: Changes are Coming

This week, Tri Delta Transit staff was informed that a BART schedule change will be implemented February 12th. For customers who take a bus to BART, the morning commute should not be a problem: they will have extra time to get to the train from the bus. When returning in the afternoon, customers transferring to a bus will have to move quickly or take a later bus.

eBART Opening

BART is working toward the opening of the eBART line from Pittsburg/Bay Point to the new Pittsburg City Center and Antioch stations. Once the date is offically announced there will be an inaugural run followed by an open house and free rides the rest of that day. The target for opening is late May.

eBART Schedules

BART completed the schedules for the new service this week so Tri Delta Transit staff can now complete the bus schedules with the intent to meet as many trains as possible.

Parking in Antioch

It is anticipated that parking will be an issue: nearly 700 people put their name on the list for the 200 available reserved parking spots
