A Unique Art Project to kick Off Oakley’s 20th Anniversary Celebrations

The year-long celebration of Oakley’s incorporation as a city begins at the Oakley Library on Wednesday, January 16th at 6:30 p.m. with a storytime led by Mayor Claire Alaura and Oakley’s first mayor Pat Anderson, followed by a community art project.

Tiles painted at this event will be used in the new Oakley Recreation Center. As always, library programs and events are free of charge. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Oakley.

The 20th Anniversary Committee has events and activities planned throughout 2019 to help honor and celebrate Oakley’s past while looking toward the future.
