Sign Up for Emergency Response Training

The Oakley Police Department will be hosting a Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) Program this March. The CERT Program provides neighborhood volunteers with training on what to do if an emergency was to occur in their neighborhood. The program provides instruction on basic first aid techniques, how to perform search and rescue after an earthquake, and how to do a variety of other emergency techniques.

People often ask what they can do to make our community better and this is a terrific opportunity. The training is FREE and everyone who participates will receive a basic emergency kit. The program will be held on Friday, March 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 30th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To apply, contact Marissa Aguilar at or 625-8855.
