Public Tours of the former Concord Naval Weapons Station

The City of Concord will be hosting “first-come, first-served” public bus tours of the Base Reuse Project at the former Concord Naval Weapons Station on two Saturdays, April 6 and May 4. The two-hour tours will give the public a chance to see where new housing, retail and office buildings are planned on the property, as well as the Mt. Diablo Creek restoration project, the Campus District, Tournament Sports Park, and a Regional Park.

Two tours will be conducted each Saturday at 9 a.m. and 12 noon, starting from Concord Civic Center, 1950 Parkside Dr. There is no charge for the tours.
